MICA'S STORY
Mica Acacia was born on March 7, 1994, and tragically was found deceased on April 27, 2024. Mica was over 100 miles away from her home and family in a state park that neither she nor her family had ties to. Robeson County in North Carolina has suspected and initially ruled Mica's death as a suicide but her family does not believe this ruling.
Mica's favorite scripture was Micah 6:8 "Seek justice, love mercifully, and walk humbly with your God." and that's exactly what we intend to do. Mica was a God-fearing woman who loved her community and named this charity "WayMakers" because God always makes a way!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
